Y’all will have to pardon me appearing to be over zealous about fly tying. It’s not about the flies/jigs/lures, or all the technical stuff we have been bombarded with the past week - it’s about the fish. Now that the ice is melting up north and fish are spawning and going crazy, it’s time to sit back and enjoy the fruits of our labor. I will continue posting some fly tyin’ stuff the next few days but only because I need to fill in the blanks, and post a couple of top water fly patterns – but mainly because it’s still fresh on my mind from the conference and don’t want my thoughts to fall through the crack. Let’s have some fishing stories and have some fun...

Darn straight, george. Since I got back from TX, the weather's been great and I have been dieing to wet a line, just haven't managed the time. Last night would have been perfect for angling except I had to work late, but I spent a good 20 minutes watching the fish feed. Then I went and split wood like a good boy (saving the worms from under the firewood in the yard ).
