I'm ready to build a new fish cleaning station and don't know what the best materials and setup would be. It will be indoors and I have electricity and water. Does anyone have suggestions on do's or don'ts ? Or does anyone have a picture of one that they really like ?
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks David

Not sure this helps but made my table from discarded kithen sink. Wife upgraded in the house and I saw it lying by the garabage and thought I got a better use.

I'd have plenty of lighting, not all from one source so as to be multi-directional.
A water-proof but non-skid surface would be a big plus.
I personally don't like the idea of sending all the scales down a drain, due to the clog potential. OTOH when I was a kid my Grandpa always cleaned fish at the basement sink and I never remember any drain problems. OTOOH he was a plumber, and might have cleaned the drains when I wasn't there.
A sink with one basin and a built-in drain board should make a really good platform to start with. Add a non-skid board over the procelain drain pan and you'd be in business. I need to con my parents out of the old sink in their basement.
