A few weeks back on a post by DD, I was rambling about not going on a fishing trip because of work and Matt popped in with a "it will still be there when you get back" reply. Matt, My thanks to you for that prompting. I went ahead with the trip and it was a wonderful experience with great fishing and great new friends. Resulted in my first Grand Slam of saltwater fly fishing (Permit, Tarpon, and Bonefish in the same day on the fly by the same angler). Thanks Matt for the response as it put me over the hump in making a decision to go. Meadowlark, Looks like one of those "Trips of a Lifetime" I am glad you had a great time and cought fish. One question for you. Have you ever watched the movie "Open Water". LOL

No...I'm not familiar with the movie you referenced Tim....at the risk of "asking for it", what about the movie were you referring to?
Appreciate the congrats, Tim and DIED, and glad you enjoyed reading...the fellow you referenced, DIED, has this thing for fresh water carp. He loves them and provides a reportedly fine guide service to folks who want to catch carp on the fly....of which there is a growing number of such folks.
