Anyone use it? should I? Mostly clay in my area, not sure if I'll need it. But I guess it couldn't hurt.

are you trying to stop a leak or just adding it to a new construction pond?

It can do significant harm to your checkbook if you don't need it.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

just building a new pond, we have alot of clay in the area, a guy I met told me to check into it, said it will help seal the dam, but hopefully I don't need it, i would rather not add to the expense if i don't have to

mr. ladder, if you havent already, i might respectfully suggest you look into getting a couple of the books offered by PondBoss WRT pond construction and use those as a basis of knowledge before you begin construction. then actively consult this forum during the project....start a thread here for your project that the collective forum can follow and provide comments and opinions.

i have read a good deal about pond construction, mostly on the internet. have found it is better to research info from old threads on here rather than ask questions.

Do not use the very small "sand" type of benonite. I did and it was a total waste of money!!
