Last night I heard a frog making a weird kind of squeal and have heard it before. Usually a turtle or snake has hold of him and I just had to check it out. Following the noise I finally found a 24" garter snake trying to swallow a full grown BULLFROG!.

Normally, I just let nature take it's course, but that was silly..snake would've eventually choked to death or a coon would've gotten 'em both that night. So, I poked mr snake til he leggo his eggo. He had managed to swallow the frogs one leg up to it's knee...that's as far has mouth could go. It looked like...if I tried to swallow a whole turkey starting at one drumstick.

Not a major observation, just something I had to pass on. I guess snakes ain't all that smart,eh? Kinda reminded me of my ex-wife and my financial situation at that time...

If the snake needs a job, there are management openings where I work.

Man I here the King Snake is the answer to a lot of problems with poisenous snakes....When I see onon my property it bring a warm feeling to my heart \:\) . I in fact I would like to buy a bunch of them and let them loose on my property. Does any one know where to get 3 to 4 dozen King snakes?

Oh, yeah. I can just see it. "But honey....THESE snakes EAT OTHER snakes..." Her reply would be something on the order of "as soon as it's done eating, THEN killit...."

She REALLY hates the things!

A long time ago, I worked at a nature center where we had a 8' bull snake on display. It was the biggest bull snake I've ever seen. One time we put a 18" speckled king snake in with it. When we came in the next morning, the king snake had killed the bull snake. Yes, king snakes usually kill snaller snakes to eat them but sometimes will kill them just because they have the opportunity.

Walked out on the front porch and there he was I jumped back caught the edge of the porch my ankle rolled under me and 2 ft down into the flowerbed I went. Snake 1 Bob's sprained ankle about 3 sizes too big 0!

well last night I was driving around the town where my property is 'Maxeys GA' and saw to what I think was a HUGE rattel snake in the road. I ran over him a couple of times...Boy it was the nastiest thing I EVER saw. I HATE POISINOUS SNAKES!!!
But I LOVE the sight of a Chain King snake!!
