Hello everyone,I haven't had alot of time as of late to post but with the last three days of rain I got to drop by and say hello.I wanted to share a little story about a litte fishing trip that was the most fun and the most productive I have had for a long time.It all started with this multi, millionare that I have managed his lake for.He had taken some of my advise and wanted some new bass stocked in his lake to help the gene pool.So being the helpful person that I always try to be I offered to stock 100 largemouth bass in his 7 acre pond. The only thing is he wanted all the bass to be over 2 pounds. At the time I'm not draining or rebuilding any ponds so the only thing that I could do was to go fishing.I know this sounds like a really hard job but it had to be done.Poor me!Now I didn't have alot of time and the mission was clear.WellI reach into my little bag of tricks and go to the place where I think will do the most good. That leads me to the place that I learn to fish awhile back with a friend. This is a state built watershed that is 125 acres of 3to5pound bass heaven. The first day I had 20 that was at that range. The second day I put 18 in the tank all over 3 pounds and the biggest 4.5.The point to this little story is to first brag alittle But to let everyone know not to overlook these great places to fish there off the beaten path but well worth the trip.Oh by the way I know there are those of you that think I should have put some back in the watershed and your right so I will.Just not that size.Hope you find this story of the hardship that is my life helpful in finding a good fishing hole in your area.
