I have a 3/4 acre pond, average depth 8'. I would like to install a fixed pier, with possibly a floating section on the end. Problem is, I don't know how to drive the support posts for the fixed section. Any suggestions on materials / methods? I would prefer to use 4x4 posts, however pvc pipe is another possible material. Thanks in advance for everyone's help.
