Hi, I have just stocked my .23 acre pond. Heres what i put in it; 22 bass, 50-75 redear, 75 coppernose, 50-75 hyrbrid and 4 lbs. of fatheads. Just wondering what everyones opinions are on this. I plan on feeding also, my local feed store only carries catfish pellets, is this what i should use for feeding? If there are other types of foods I should use plz. let me know. Do you think I will need an areator in the futer? Thanks!

Do we assume the 50-75 hybrids are hybrid sunfish?

Here's my opinion. Bass will grow relative to reproduction of bluegill and fathead minnows early...as long as those bass were less than 8 inches long. Redear will reproduce once, probably mid-April where you are. Bluegill will be the backbone of your food chain...focus on producing more of them. Catfish pellets are fine, as long as they float. Hybrid sunfish will grow faster than any of the other fish, for a year or two, and will outcompete most other fish for groceries. Another important assumption is that the sunfish are at least four inches long.
Teach a man to grow fish... He can teach to catch fish...
