Very nice.
What kind of trees are on that island?
If it's red maple, they should do okay.

the one on the island is a Big Birch. There's alot of huge tress near by. just worried how that many leaves will affect the pond in the long run :\

Birch? Okay.
You'll get a lot of leaves in that pond but oh well.
Still is a nice pond!

Congrats on your new little slice of heaven.
That dog probably loves you ten fold more now!

I have found in my .4 acre pond with trees on the South side I get lots of leaves. I bought a 12 ft paint roller extension and a leaf basket for a swimming pool and keep them by the pond. I am able to remove lots of leaves from the pond this way. Nice looking pond and good luck.
