Pond Boss Forums INTRO Questions & Observations First stocking

I stocked my first forage fish last weekend in my new 1 acre pond.
250 Blue Gill perch, 100 Redear perch, 4# FH minnows, 4# Golden Shiners, and 50 Channel Cat fingerlings.

I plan on adding 25 or so LMB next summer. By then, there should be 2-3 spawns of these guys to provide enough food chain.

I'm going to harvest (insert the word: EAT) the CC's as they reach 1 1/2# to 2#. I may let a few grow a bit more.

Question: Is there a feeding process that I need to start with this new forage population or are they o.k. through the winter?

per the texas farm pond chart, you dont start supplemental feeding till march 1 - mid nov~.. i stoped adding feed in my feeders at the first of nov~..an i just let them run out~..
