I have a new dam inside city limits, and looking for some suggestions for what cover crop to plant. the back side is a 3 to 1 ratio at best and I will not be able to mow. I live in north centeral missouri any suggestions?

I would call the MDC and talk to a private lands conservationist. They will come out and recommend a mixture of native grasses and forbes that will thrive in your area.

Good idea........but getting them to come out is very difficult to say the least. They have a very small staff here in Missouri and usually phone calls or e-mails work better. Signed experienced.....
