Hello,
I just wanted to introduce myself and thank those who provide such a wonderful resource.
My name is Joe and I live in Washington state. I am married to a wonderful lady, have a little girl and a little guy due in December. We just bought a house on 5 acres and look forward to building a family/fish pond.
I will save my questions until I've had a chance to search the archives to cut down on repetitive topics, but trust me I will have questions.
Great site!!
Joe

Welcome to the group. Bunch of great people and great information. You plan on a trout pond or gonna try for the warm water species? I know I didn't get to do a whole lot of bass fishing when I lived in Federal Way and Onalaska Washington but did a ton of Salmon, Steelhead and Trout fishing on the Cowlitz at the Barrier Dam and below the Hatchery.

I have not decided about a trout vs warm water pond, just beginning my planning/research phase. I lean toward a warm water pond for reasons of diversity. I also grew up in Texas, so I suppose I am still a bass guy at heart. Joe
