I am intrested in a fishing lease. My in-laws have a 7 acre spring fed lake in Kerrville that I fish on a regular basis. The lake needs some attention to make it a trophy bass lake, and my in laws won't let me do the things necessary to accomplish that goal. I would like to lease a place where I could go fishing anytime I wanted , specifically to catch, and release black bass. Is there such a place w/in a two hour drive of Austin, Texas?

Hornstrider, Remember Mark's former fishing club lake east of San Marcos? What about that one..35 acres, close to home. Maybe give Mark a call. I would also call Malcolm Johnson and ask him if he knows of private lakes for lease. Malcolm's in San Marcos.

I have seen posting in some farm supply stores for pond leases around the Seguin area.
I am also curious on what info (terms, rules),preperation (what I would need to supply) and costs (supplies, lease price) for leasing out my own pond.
