I put a dozen sm bass in my one acre pond last year (to clean out my red fish) They were 10 to 12 inches long and supposed to spawn this year. There are still lots of redfish however I have noticed that there appear to be a lot fewer small ones (2 to 3 inches) I have not seen any of the bass since I put them in there. Is there anything that I can do to convince myself that I still have bass?

I have never seen the spawning beds for my bass yet. They make their beds too deep. I would think the reduced numbers of smaller fish would mean they are doing their job, but I would just try going fishing for them. They tend to be easy to get them to strike.
