i need to no about parrot feather and how to get it out of my pond so i can stock it with bass my pond is 50ft by 200ft 12ft deep

granular 2-4d may be your best bet. might try reward mixed with cutrine

Sonar or Avast may be your best bet for eliminating it, depending on what else is growing in the pond that you don't want to kill. 2,4-D products, like Navigate are a good choice if you don't want to harm other species...it will kill water lilies though.
I recommend that you get lined up with a supplier or applicator and discuss the pros & cons of each treatment. Identifying the other plant species in your pond is also important in selecting a herbicide.

I have used 2,4-d granular (Navigate)with great success many times on parrots feather. ALso back when I first started I used Reward and it works great for a burn but it will come right back.
