Has anyone used the services of Southeastern Pond Management. If so what was your experience? What type of work did you have done? Was their fees reasonable in your opinion? waymonneal@aol.com

Waymon,
I have used Southeastern Pond Management on several occasions and found them to be very helpful and knowledgable. We purchased threadfin shad from them several years ago and they delivered exactly what was promised. We have also had them do an electro-shocking analysis on the lake and it was very informative. I purchased water-soluable fertilizer from them last year and it worked beautifully. Just last week, we purchased 200 lbs of pellet-trained bass from them. All dealings with them have been most satisfactory. I think the price they charge for their services is fair and you always know that you will get what pay for. Another nice thing about Southeastern Pond Mgt is that I talk to them by phone several times each year with ideas (usually hair-brained) that I have for the lake or questions about our lake and there is no charge for this consultation. I would highly recommend them to you. I'm sure that there are plenty of fishery management folks out there that do good work, but I know that these folks are top-notch.
Bill

Norman Latona and his colleagues at Southeastern Pond Management are consummate professionals. They are excellent at what they do, and intend to be in the forefront of pond management for many years to come.
As a professional biologist myself, I highly recommend them.

I agree with Bob. I've used them for several years for fertilization and they're top notch. They also limed my pond when it was first built. Very professional and courteous. I'm sure their rates are competitive.

We both provide the same service so it is hard for me to say this...They do very professional work at a fair price. I believe my prices are slightly lower, but my overhead is as well. I've heard very few complaints with work they have performed and we have a good working relationship. They do not make recommendations based on $$$ (like some unnamed folks in the fish business). Recommendations are based on scientific reasons.
