D/FW area hit 93 today. New record
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

We are breaking records from 1996. I was young in 1996 but I remember that summer being extremely hot.

Record cold - on the other side of the world https://www.cnn.com/travel/article/yakutsk-russia-cold-snap-freeze-intl-hnk/index.html Thought your winter was cold? Temperatures in the world’s coldest city have plunged to minus 62.7°C (minus 80.9 degrees Fahrenheit) – the coldest in more than two decades, meteorologists say. That comes just two days after the city’s previously set record of minus 50 degrees Celsius (minus 58 degrees Fahrenheit). Yakutsk, the capital city of Russia’s Sakha Republic in eastern Siberia, is widely identified as being one of the coldest places in the world. Large parts of Russia are currently experiencing record low temperatures and Yakutsk is seeing an abnormally long cold snap.

I believe we set a record today in Grand Rapids but will drop 50 degrees overnight and have a high of about 28 tomorrow with winter weather warning. The poor chickens are very confused and the maple trees can't figure out which way the sap is supposed to be running.

Mid 70°s here in the middle of Misery yesterday. Woke up this morning to low 20°s and snow on the ground.

The problem here is no rain with measurable runoff for many months. Creeks and ponds are very low.

John, I’m in a multi year drought.
