I know this has probably been answered, but what's the best feeder for the Optimal 5.5mm floating bluegill chow that won't jam up. Thanks.

5.5mm is just a little over 3/16", so any feeder should handle it. I've got Sweeneys, and have had Texas Hunters. Both threw up to 1/4" just fine.

Assure that you caulk the seams and sight windows.

They can leak, jam everything up and burn up the motor.

Been there, done that.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

If you never get rain at your pond, can you just skip the caulking step?

(FishinRod ducks as DD1 throws his keyboard at him.)

P.S. I am still performing rain dances for our Pond Boss members in your neck of the woods. I see the central Texas drought region has been expanding to the east and down to the Gulf Coast. I must have some of my steps wrong. mad
