Hello. We are getting an in-ground pool put in about 15-20 feet away from our 1/4 acre pond. They are pumping some of the ground/mud water from the pool hole they dug into the pond to clear some of it out. Is this okay for pond life? Also, we are stocking the pond at the end of this week, will any of this construction be harmful to the new stock? There is no machinery close to the pond, no mud or dirt getting dumped in. They are staying away from the pond besides pumping the water into it. Thanks for any help in advance

The short duration of silty water from the pool pumping project should not be a problem for the pond ecology nor stocking new fish.
