The link goes to a video of the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources stocking remote ponds via a small plane.

Aerial Fish Stocking

I know we have several pilots in the forum, and lots of innovators. I hope they enjoy the video BUT don't get too many ideas about replacing the local "fish truck"!

Best wishes,

Interesting article, nice, uh, catch on your part. I assume they are stocking trout, hence the comments about needing high altitudes & cool temp lakes. Also, I discovered when stocking my BOW that rainbow trout don't need habituation nearly as much as many other fish, came as a surprise.

All I know, is that I don't want to be the guy hanging underneath the plane that is culling the Green Sunfish out of the stocker fish during the drop. laugh

"Oorah, Airborne!!!"

These fish all have their paratrooper wings.
