Hello.
Very rapid onset of laying. 2010- 2 April 43F 2012- 1 ¨¨¨¨ 42F 2020- 3 ¨¨¨¨ 47F
There are often a lot of eggs near the surface which could get stuck in the ice, if there is a heavy frost lasting several days.
What happens to these eggs. Are all these eggs dead.
At the speed that it melts here I think I will have a fast spawning like in 2012. A+

I figure any egg that freezes or gets stuck in ice is dead.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Yes I also think frozen YP eggs will not hatch. Maye you can test that condition??
