My small ponds are in Needville, Tx, which is 30 miles sw of Houston. I want to stock some Tilapia in 2 of them. Kinda small, .20 acres each. I called Dunn's and they do not sell Tilapia. Overton is about 3-4 hours away and do not deliver such small numbers. Does anyone know of a mail order source for Tilapia?

Robert,
I've searched extensively for mail order Tilapia but haven't had any success with it. I suggest you try Kenneth Henneke in Halletsville. He is very accomodating on small orders and has a great set-up for Tilapia.
If I had seen your post earlier, I would have offered you a few for free out of my indoor grow-out system...but they are all deployed in the ponds now. Good luck!
