For the second year in a row, I'm restocking.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Talked to Lusk a couple of days ago and told him about my plans to use plastic construction fencing to discourage them from landing. He said that sounded like a lot of work and expense. He recommended rebar stakes on the bank and heavy yellow construction cord in strips from bank to bank. I like that idea a lot better.

You could use the light weight electric fence wire. Would last more than one year and they may not see it till it is too late.
