OP Heath Lawrence H Joined: Apr 2018 Posts: 23 Pittsburg, Kansas	I received a water test of my pond today and was wondering if someone could explain some of the numbers to me. Also whether or not based on these numbers if I should lime/fertilize or do nothing at all. Thanks. Attached Images 3 acre strip pit: BG, RES, LMB and BCP.

So you likely don't need lime to make a fertilization plan work. If you need to fertilize is a different question based on current situation and pond goals. Many ponds do not need extra fertility. OP Heath Lawrence H Joined: Apr 2018 Posts: 23 Pittsburg, Kansas	I had read an article of Bob Lusk's that said if you were between 6-8 pH and over 20 ppm alkalinity that your pond would probably be fine, I was just making sure. My goal is to have a better plankton bloom. If I can find some perfect pond plus fertilizer I think I'll apply it and see if I can get a better plankton bloom.Thank you for your response ewest. 3 acre strip pit: BG, RES, LMB and BCP.
