I have looked at a few plant sites and can't find a match that seems 100% to me. Would appreciate some help with this. Growing much deeper than I would have thoughts any plants would be growing. If I hadn't pulled a bunch up with aeration lines and the boat anchor you wouldn't even know it's there. Filled with all kinds of life.

I can't help with the plant ID, but if you are up at the lake, can you regale us all with stories of what things are like there?

how is weather?
water levels?
Water quality, DO?
Did your grass clipping algae go away?
How are fish, scuds, salamanders, crayfish, they are all surviving?

meanwhile you took good pictures so i would think someone could chime in on plant ID. It is impressive to think that these plants may have survived the harsh weather conditions of last winter!

Haha Thanks Canyon! I actually updated the other thread with some more info and pics. Looks like everything up there is kicking butt. I hope I am not jinxing myself, but this looks like our best chance for Winter success yet!!

Bill Cody confirmed that it is Chara.

I'm about 100% sure it's Chara. Go to Google images and type in Chara plant to see for yourself.
