You don’t want me to get started on grandkid pics.. lol
8 yr old pond, 1 ac, 15' deep. RES, YP, GS, FHM (no longer), HBG (going away), SMB, and HSB (didn’t make it. 0 seen in 5 yrs) Restocked HSB (2020) I think we have survivors! I think that's about all I should put in my little pond.
I hunt a lot. I take kids turkey hunting. I fish all I can. I also hunt mushrooms. Years vary a lot. It has been several years since we had a good crop, but this year is shaping up ok.
This picture is from several years ago.
There are chanterelles, hawk’s wings and king boletes. This was a really good day.
Brad 1.5 acre pond with LMB, BG, BCP, CC, FHM and lots of crayfish, unknown type. .5 acre pond with FHM and GSF. 12 acre irrigation reservoir that I don't know what to do with. New pond, roughly 1.5 acres. Pond Boss Subscriber.
Some pretty cool pictures of all the different hobbies. Of course our hobbies are just like taking care of our ponds in that we all have a passion for them.
Nothing like seeing your bobber bobbing. 1 acre pond with LMB BG GSF BH CC and whatever else I can find Not after trophies I just like catching and eating fish Buddy R Hill
Only picture I found of my 1965 Mustang. I had added two walls of pallet racking in the barn and had moved several items outside for the day.
Scott69, I saw your affinity for Belgium made Brownings, and chance you are a fellow member of the Browning Collectors Club? Thanks.
Bryan
No. I am not a member, but I do have a 22 short semi auto that was made in the Belgium custom shop that was offered to BCA members only. They only made 150 of them. I have thought about joining and just never have. I heard they have a pretty nice classified section, is that correct?
My favorite hobby is meeting on Monday mornings with my counselor to determine which hobby projects need to get moved from my "To Do" list to my "To Don't" list.
Being ADD/ADHD, and retired, is wonderful. We never have time to get bored.
The BCA does have a large listing of classifieds. They have a nice banquet at the spring Wanamaker Gun Show in Tulsa, lots of nice Browning displays at the show too. I do have a nicely engraved Belgium SA22, my favorites are the Belgium Browning A5’s. Memories of walking along with my dad and his buddies with their A5’s pheasant hunting have stuck with me I guess. Thanks.

I currently have 11 of the sa 22's. I have been looking hard to find a 1956 short. They had a 19 inch barrel for the first part of 1956 and have had a 22 inch barrel ever since for the 22 shorts. I got lucky and found #315. I doubt I'll ever see another one.

Love it, Ken!!! Hilarious!

Probably the favorite thing I do is cook for the family and kids when they all come home for Holidays. Tonite is applewood smoked prime rib, grilled garden asparagus, and smoked jalapeno poppers and twice baked loaded potatoes.
roundy, how long do you leave that sized prime rib on the smoker? I have a smoker like yours and have cooked a lot of thigs overnight when sleeping. But I have not done a prime rib. My biggest concern is too much might be under cooked for my wifey, ha! not me but her. I dam near have to burn things for her lol.
Do not judge me by the politicians in my City, State or Federal Government.
TGW1 - It was about 15# and was medium rare in 4 hours at 250 degrees. If I need well done slices, I have my gas grill hot and ready when slicing and throw the well done ones on there for a few minutes. Bingo - Bango everyone is now happy. If you want pink slices be sure to start checking temps early in the cooking process. I do every 20 minutes about 3 hours in, take off at about 125 F for MR as it will continue to cook a little bit as you let it set before slicing.
Thank you Sir. I have wanted do try the Prime rib but gets pretty expensive if I screw it all up and nobody want to eat it lol. I think I will try it your way. It looks good.

A meat thermometer, patience, and a cooking temperature between 225-250 is almost foolproof.
