Hi,
I have a 1 acre pond that is 16 feet deep. It was stocked with 80 brown trout a couple years ago. It has a good population of minnows and insects. The problem is I saw 4 bass a few weeks ago and I don't know where they came from. It is possible that someone put them in. My question is should I try to get rid of them? If yes how do I go about it? I do not have any bait fish other than the minnows so if they reproduce I fear they will not be good for the pond.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Adam

You don't have 4 bass in your pond, you have 4 bass that you KNOW ABOUT in your pond. It only takes 2 to make 2,000...
How do you think they got there?

Largemouth or smallmouth bass? SMB less likely to give you problems with outproducing their forage base.
