What water temp here east Texas would be considered ideal for an electroshock survey? Would like it cool enough to get a lot more fish shallow, but fear to leave it too long like last year when severe cold snaps in October messed things up.

I'm going to dovetail off of ewest's suggestion above and ask you to address whether or not electric shock can be used effectively to cull undesirable species such as bullhead, carp, huge gizzard shad, etc. Seems like a better solution than rotenone, if it would work.
