I have a small 1/8th acre pond that I want to build out and turn into 1.5 acre pond more or less.
I'd like to get a professional to design it for me though. There are some big trees I want to try and keep so the shape might be odd.. There is a dry creek and other factors so I figure I should go to a pro. I have no idea where to find one so figured I'd ask here if there are any recommendations.
Place is near Dilley, Texas about 1 hour South of San Antonio.

If you see a pond near-you that looks nice maybe around a newer looking ranch house or property...stop and inquire if they are happy with their pond and who built it. Most people love talking about their stuff. Maybe try calling the Frio County AgriLife Extension office and see if they have any suggestions: https://frio.agrilife.org/These boys not too far from you look like they may know how to build ponds, but I dont know anything about them. This quote on their website might indicate they would work on your smaller type project: "We make ponds from one half acre to over 100 acres". https://www.weberconstructionco.com/tanks.htm

Have you tried contacting Mr Otto here? I understand he covers a large area in his pond building. I understand him to be an expert in such things.
Do not judge me by the politicians in my City, State or Federal Government.

Unfortunately my only neighbor that has a big pond is not very accessible. The owner prior that built the pond I have gave me the guys name who did it, but he's just a dirt mover not really a professional pond builder. I'll try the agrilife extension good suggestion.
