OP kjmiller Lunker K Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 21 Monticello Ia.	I have a dam that leaks and grows a lot of ugly weeds and am wondering if there are ornamental plants that will grow and look good in this type of environment. Thanks,Kevin

Can't be mowed easily due to slope or wetness? I found a couple of threads on non-aquatic plants; they may give you a place to start considering from. Edward P. Eitel Lunker E Joined: May 2004 Posts: 234 Lusk, Wyoming	Reed canary grass? Disclaimer: This grass is extremely aggressive on moist sites. Some States consider it a noxious weed. Check with your State University or Extension Service, etc. I like this plant in extreme western Nebraska for wet sites. It is aggressive, stabilizes steep slopes and is very resistant to water erosion. It is great cover for wildlife but has a very minimum wildlife food value. Ed
