I installed a 4 diffuser Kasco aeration system and two surface aerators last year on my 9 ac pond( 4' to 12' depth) and they run on timers from 10 pm to 10 am. During the past year during 2 thunder storms the breakers tripped and all aeration was cut off. How long without aeration will it take for my pond to re-stratify and how long would it take for a DO issue to develop? I visit my farm and pond frequently but 4-5 days may pass when I am not present.Should I use start up procedure with a 4-5 day aeration power loss?
