Not pike, but I stocked 5 muskies in a clients pond to help eat the goldfish population. One was caught (well it was brought up to the pier and it broke off) that was over 40".

We have a few NP females in our pond. They are all 40+- inches. We catch and release them on occasion. When you catch one, figure on a half hour game-on.

When they die of old age, I won't replace them, but they are fun to catch while they are here. When you see one swim by it gets you heart rate up. cool

Got a pond with a lot of NP. Lots of BG, so they're all fat and plump, even the little guys. We speared through the ice this past year for the first time. We saw some in the 35-40 inch class, they looked like submarines coming through. We stated taking some out as we've been adding WE.

they'll do a wonderful job of controlling crappie and bluegill populations and they're well adapted to shallow, weedy waters.

They will reproduce easily and unless you got a large pond (or a lot of plants for fish to hide) you might see once only pikes and some large specimens of other fish.

Tiger muskie are typical sterile and would be a good option for multiple fish in a small pond - plus they look unique

Chain Pickerel usually don't grow very large (about 3lbs and 24ish) and might be a good option as well. At that size the gap is close to that of a LMB
