Looks like the 2017 season is underway here in Indiana.
"Forget pounds and ounces, I'm figuring displacement!"
If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1) And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1) Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT? PB answer: It depends.

Dang, that makes me even more anxious to get back to In but the lows still have me hesitant. I'm scheduled to fly home 5-5 and hope that regardless of the warm temps this yr the season may still be on in northern In. I know everyone has their favorite fish dinner but a nice backstrap over a campfire and a big pan of sauteed Morels just can't be topped.
Do nature a favor, spay/neuter your pets and any weird friends or relatives.

Me too Pat. I get toad stools.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Uuummm! Yummm!
Our previous WV home was on a mountain ridge about four miles from here. Many years before we bought it, the property was covered with apple orchards and multiple fence lines.
Early in the 1960s the ridge top was bulldozed for homes. The old bulldozed and covered rotting trees produced many wonderful things, including some interesting apple trees.
Best of all, each springtime I would find beauties like you show in your photo while I would be out mowing the lawn.
I guess that if I'd have had pigs I would have found many more.
In any case, enjoy!
Our present place has lots of old rotted hardwood trees and stumps that produce lots of interesting fungi. Like Dave D., mine all seem to be toad stools that I would never dare eat.
