this bass was stocked as a fingerlin 21 months ago. he is one of the few that takes pellets. he is exactly 17" long, i feel sure there are a few that take pellets that are a tad larger. a few of the non pellet feeders are 16" but not in the class of this one as far as fat goes. this ones mouth looks to small for his size to me. i think one of the videos i posted of the bass taking a pellet last week is a good bit larger than this one. looks pretty healthy for his age, right?

1 1/4 acre L shaped pond, 6 to 9 ft deep. Finished 7/7/16. Stocked with LMB, HBG, BG, CNBG, RES, FHM. Can't wait to fish it. GO SAINTS!!!

How big were the bass when stocked??. Very nice fish for 21 months old in your pond. Since you are in AL some of that belly bulge could be eggs. Keep up updated on this thread as these bass get older to see how big they will get when eating a lot of pellets. As you track their size as original stocked bass you should be able to monitor them to see how old they will get.

this is a photo of the fingerlings. that is 5/4" deck board that you can see thru the bag. they were about the length of your pinky finger.
