I have engaged professionals to electro-fish my ponds several times and have helped electro-fish a friends pond. Three pond professionals and three different rigs. Two of the rigs seemed to outperform the third one. The electro-probes were all different. All professionals provided quality detailed reports.
What is the best electro-fishing rig(s)that one should expect from a pond professional? Are there several top brands? Are there differences in probe performance?
Thanks for your response.

This would be a great post for Shawn Banks to answer, since he is a builder of premier electro-shock boats and systems. A HUGE pair of variables not mentioned in your questions, is the conductivity of water and knowledge of the boat operator to adjust the generator output properly... Cody Note: Hopefully someone will provide a PM avenue for S.Banks. Shawn may explain these answers on his website? http://www.midwestlake.com
