What's with the question...How Many States in the US? I thought it was a spy-bot deterrent, but I noticed a profile today that the owner had answered "52".

Bots will usually put in letters and not a number so you are still able to tell if it is a person or not.

Mods keep an eye on new "members". We used to get quite a few foreign spammers. However, I find that not everybody has an idea how many we have. Actually, too many Americans don't know the answer to the question.

Dave, I can think of one in our highest office who said the wrong number of states. 
Do not judge me by the politicians in my City, State or Federal Government.

I don't think over half of Americans could answer the question correctly. It doesn't happen here.

With the way we do math these days. Its a wonder the kids can get there in time before a page times out. Oh thats right we are doing geography.
