The pond level is down now just over a foot and still no rain in sight. I am running my aerator at nights and have noticed the water getting greener. What, if anything, can be done to maintain water quality as water quantity is reduced?
We removed 20 large CC over the weekend with hopes of getting another 20 out this weekend.

Drought here too. Nine tenths inch of rain since July 26, none in sight. My pond is down 25 inches from full pool as of this morning. I too need to get some CC out, but they are not quite large enough. If your CC are large enough to easily clean and eat, you are in a better situation. I wish I had only stocked about 40 CC, not 70.
