I'm from west central illinois. My inlaws have a new pond and several existing ponds. I plan on building a pond on my property in the near future. So I have lots of questions. From new ponds to existing, as well as new pond construction. I've been told this is the place with the most knowledgeable pond folks, so here I am. Thanks.

Greetings Duke.

You will find so many useful items here. When I started researching, every time I punched something in to Google, PondBoss answers were at the top.

Do lots of thinking about goals and lots of research on how to meet those goals before you start construction. It will pay you back in the long run.

Welcome to the best forum on the interwebs!

The goal of a recreational pond should be enjoyment. Have goals and try to achieve them, but enjoy whatever happens. If it was easy, it would not be fun.
