Left to right: Juglans Nigra (Black Walnut)....Juglans Regia (English, or Carpathian Walnut)....Juglans Cinerea (White Walnut, or Butternut)

Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT?

I've got a ton of Black Walnut trees and lots of walnuts this fall, but have had no success in Carpathians. Have never seen a butternut tree, at least one I recognized.

I toyed with the idea of planting some English walnuts a couple years ago. IIRC I couldn't find any Zone 4 hardy.
