Hey everyone. I've done a ton of research for my area, and it looks like a pond is going to be doable. I don't really know the first thing when it comes to who is a good pond builder and who is not. Who do I call in my area to get references?
I am in San Angelo, TX
Thanks!

Thank you. Is there anyone else I should keep in mind? I always hear to get as many quotes as possible, and although I'm not pulling the trigger right now, I'd like to know what to budget fro so that I can hopefully have something built in the next 6-12 months.

Mike Otto gave me some expert advice, and I highly recommend him. He was too busy to build my pond, though, so I eventually hired Mike Smelley of Marshall, Texas to do the dirt work. He did a terrific job. If you wish, I can send you his cell number via PM.
And I totally agree with the previous comment: READ stuff from Bob Lusk and PondBoss! There is just so much to know, and the more you know the fewer blunders you'll make.

Yep, the books are amazingly cheap compared to diesel fuel. And, they tell you things that you will never think to ask.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

I'll have to pick those books up. I'll have to send Mike Otto an email and pick his brain a bit. It's all pretty exciting, so I lm hoping everything that I want is going to be realistic.
