could somebody tell me when the avarage pond gets good fishing.i've allways been told it takes about 3-4 yrs. for the bass numbers to come up to the point you get good fishing.i know the bream x very fast but with bass only spawning once a year seems to me it might take longer than 3 yrs.my lake is 5 acres.thanks

Properly stocked, your pond should produce middling-quality fishing for 12-14 inch bass within 18 months.

We had 10-12" LMB the first year we started the lake. A few hit 14" and some were smaller at 8".
