If you cross breed some of Overton’s pure DNA brood stock tested Florida LMB with some of Overton’s orphan LMB (previously called Camelot Bell), what do you call them? They are not F1’s? Not an intergrade? Different strain? Here’s some of my “catchable” pure Florida LMB that I donated to Highflyer’s lake in 2012.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Nice body pattern. It will be interesting to see if the body blotches persist past the 5-6 pound mark.

There is going to be an effort to catch some of them in Oct. I'll post the results.
Just a little correction, the Donation was made in 2012 or they would be 17 pounders by now!!

With as much help as I have received from George, Todd, Allen and Sid, those LMB should have the opportunity to get there!!
