For those of you who know him, this will come as no surprise. For all others I just wanted to publicly thank him. If I embarrass you here ESSHUP....TOO BAD! Here is a guy that spent over two hours on the phone with me for a grand total of zero dollars. Helping me with my pond questions, giving me advice, new ideas, and teaching me some basic water stewardship skills. He now has a customer for life. People, including myself sometimes, don't take the time to acknowledge something good...I wanted to publicly THANK YOU sir. Oh and I really appreciate letting me know my bonehead mistakes have been made by others. It definitely makes me feel a little less dumb

I am not surprised and you are correct! Since we are acknowledging above and beyond, TJ spent an afternoon talking with me on the phone a few months back. Bill C. has to be tired of my e-mails and PMs! Etc. Etc. Etc. A lot of unselfish people on this forum, I think it is great you are posting it!

Scott's a good man that way - and appreciate the acknowledgment Bill. I enjoy paying forward all the help I've received on the forum, and welcome anyone who thinks I can help nudge them in the right direction to reach out to me anytime.
MN and Bill are both great about supporting the forum fiscally and spiritually - thank you!

...but I am quite fond of things that go boom...preferably homemade and not so legal. Post's can go boom and become illegal pretty quick. Apparently, my previous post about getting the checkbooks out as a form of gratuity for those freely helping others, hit a few nerves. To be honest with you all, and true to myself. I can not apologize for the suggestion, but will for not wording it correctly. My personal opinion, and only mine, mind you! Is if I called one of these guy's up and spent hours on the phone with them, educating me and solving my issues - and it's free consultation. I would at least find out what eat dig's are in their area and buy them lunch. Sorry Mods - this is the best I'm gonna do here.

JKB- As far as I'm concerned, after posting my response and re reading your post...I realized that I probably took your response out of context. I believe, you were just trying to make sure these guys were getting paid what they are worth. And as a consultant, nobody appreciates that more than me. So I deleted it, shortly after posting it. My apologies to you as I should have been not so quick to type and definitely not in public. My bad. I have way too much respect for what you add here....nothing to see here....we move on...

MN - I never even saw your post that ended up :. Someone else hit the Emergency Stop/File Complaint button. It may be easy to take things out of context from my posts, so I need to add more words, but will be damned if I'm gonna add as many as Spark

Ha! It takes years spent shining a pew with your backside to be able to ramble incoherently like I do.

In the spirit of this thread, I also want to express my gratitude to esshup for delivering the pond chemicals right to my door. He certainly didn't have to do that, but he did anyway. Much appreciated!
I know what he'll say..."I was close by doing a pond consult...no big deal" Maybe so, but I still recognize that it took additional effort on his part, effort that was not expected or warranted.
It was good to see him again...even if our visit put him getting home late!

Don't forget....Esshup is also why online folks had the opportunity to bid on items up for auction at the last conference. Without his efforts, that would not have happened.
