I hit the road this morning to troubleshoot a ride at Michigan's Adventure (it's dead - needs new stuff)

Anyway, a few blocks away from the apt I saw this:

They have these swan boats at MA and this is very similar to the Swans there. I asked the head guy there if they are selling any, and he said no. He said these cost 7-8K and are made in Sandusky.

Heres a link to the auction item: http://michiganonlineauctions.hibid.com/lot/19772994/swan-pedal-boat-great-summer-fun?tab=0

I also asked if they keep geese away, he said not here.

Be pretty cool to have on your pond or lake for the kids.

If you have any questions, I'll see if I can get an answer.

It is all fiberglass and seems solid.

If that one costs $7K-$8K it is probably better made than these:

Direct Boats Swan Paddle Boat

Barts Swan Paddle Boat

Fishing has never been about the fish....

The head guy at MA said "theirs" cost 7-8K. It's an amusement park and they have to deal with safety and liability. They are also a bit larger than these.

Someone close could probably pick this up for peanuts.

This one actually looks like a Bart's Bird.

The ones at MA came from Cedar Point and were built in Sandusky, OH for Cedar Point and moved to MA in 2004.

I think it would be cool to have one. They look better in the water tho.
