So I am now in year 3 and things seem to be going well. 2 acre pond, FHM, CNBG, RES, LMB, HSB. I don't feed and everything I'm catching is just a little over 100% RW. Have yet to harvest anything other than a few HSB.
I am trying to manage for maximum BG production. I assume at some point some of the LMB will get to a size where they will compete with me for harvest-able or nearly harvest-able BG. So my question is what size is that?

Seems others on the forum have suggested around 14 inches or so. That size lm would normally consume bg around 4.5 to 5 inches on a regular basis, so many people say. I would go out on a limb and say that a hungry lm would eat bg even larger. Anyway, the ones that got past the lm would, ideally, grow large and fat with the little bg out of the way.
When you state that your wr are around 100, are you talking the lm or the bg? I think to manage for larger bg your lm would usually be a bit under weight. Check out other threads for bg management and see what they say.
Good luck!
