I have wounded goose hanging around the pond. Is this a SSS situation or should I just wait for it to leave?

I would leave it just so you are not violation of any game laws or the migratory bird act, let nature take its course. Yotes, owls, and other critters need to eat too.

Around here, we would report it to the game warden or animal control and they would come out and take care of it.
