Think I'm going to buy this feeder. Anyone have it? Reviews? http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001RE3JSSPrice of it is all over the board. It was $82 when I first looked at it a few days ago, then it went down to $42 overnight, now when I just went to get the link it's back up to $62. Guess I should've pulled the trigger on it yesterday...

I have a Moultrie brand feeder, but smaller than that one. Seems to be a lot of Texas Hunter fans on this forum, but my $49.95 feeder has lasted years. Sure, it may get clogged up from a passing hurricane or tropical storm, but a short stick will clear it in seconds. For the $$$, ya can't beat them.

I've used the converted deer feeders, and I sell Texas Hunter's feeders....use a TH and yeah, for the money, the TH will blow away any slinger. Congrats on getting years out of a Moultrie...not a lot of mine over the years even lasted a deer season. There are major differences, and everyone has their budgets as well as what they are happy with. More than anything, my biggest gripe with a hanging feeder is how much of a PITA they are to keep clean, charged, filled, and away from all the critters that empty them.
