Good morning everyone! Seeing some great fishing pics and just curious - is anyone in our NE TX neck of the woods having any luck? The weather hasn't exactly been cooperating, but my last few times out I've caught 0. Not even a bite.

JMac0912, my CNBG have apparently left for Destin FL for the winter. Not even a bump in the last 2 weeks.
What fish have you been targeting?

I know, I know, I don't live in Texas and I've never fished for CNBG, but I'm going to toss this out there anyway. Have you downsized your baits for the colder temps? 3-4 mm ice jigs tipped with a maggot or two, beneath a float? Remember Illinois, AL.....
"Forget pounds and ounces, I'm figuring displacement!"
If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1) And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1) Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT? PB answer: It depends.

...Remember Illinois, AL..... Oh, I'll never forget that trip. It was like fishing on the moon to me. Never have I felt so lost, and at the same time received so much help by you and others.

When winter conditions set in, ice or no ice I downsize to ice fishing sized terminal tackle including floats.

Fire, I was primarily looking for black crappie. 1/16oz jig head under a slip cork and as many different curly tails and tubes as I could pull out of my box. Im still learning the topography of our pond-maybe I was just in the wrong place. Sprkplug and esshup, you lost me at ice! I did try some red worms, no maggots though.
