So after seeing gar kings videos hand feeding his bass I decided to try it. I have trained a couple dozen LMB to come to the bank when I drive up on my side by side. Well needless to say I have burned through a lot of bream and shiners and it was getting hard to catch enough to feed them out of the cow water hole I was getting them from, but I was catching tons of 6-8" bullheads. I originally did not want to use them because of the fins and fear of one getting away. But I have found that if I cut the fins off with a pare of side cutters and then knock the little devils in the head with a hammer before tossing them in the bass just slurp them down like an oyster. So a new use for a trash fish. And I can let the bream and shiners numbers build again.

Very creative way to use 'trash' fish. Plus if makes catching a bass very easy, although use the catching method very sparingly because it will deter the bass from as aggressively eating your bullheads and it won't be as big of a 'show' piece for you and visitors.
