Joined in 2012 and this is my first post- I live in Spring, TX but we have 2 weekend farms 90 miles west of Houston. On one I've got a 3 year old pond (holds water beautifully) and last year we stocked with catfish, minnows, and a perch of some sort-- I know the catfish have thrived 1 1/2 years later, but not sure of the minnows and perch. My main issue is turbidity, and I have always wondered how fish could survive in this turbid (zero visibility) water, but the cats are thriving. Will be researching the turbidity issue and others.

Welcome to the site, it needs another Texans input. If ya check out vids by Gar King you'll see him catch some pretty impressive catfish from the sewer.
Do nature a favor, spay/neuter your pets and any weird friends or relatives.
